Should I get Baptized?

Absolutely! The Book of Romans says that when we go under the water, we identify with Christ who went into the grave, and when we come out of the water, we identify with His resurrection. Baptism signifies what has already happened to us spiritually. Our old identity as a sinner is gone, and we rise up with a new identity in Christ. As Pastor Zak says, “Baptism is your going public day! It is a simple, outward expression of an inward decision that you have already made for Christ.”

At Revolution Church, we celebrate baptisms! If you are interested in being baptized, click here now and let us know.

Frequently Asked Questions about Baptism

Baptism is Biblical. Throughout the New Testament you find this powerful symbol practiced by those who began the journey of following Christ. It is a sign of your relationship with Christ and a symbol of the power found through Jesus’ death and resurrection.

No. But it is the first act of obedience as a Christ follower.

At Revolution Church, we baptize by immersion because it is the clear method used in the Bible.

We have many members who were baptized as an infant. We celebrate their parent’s desire to place them in the path toward a relationship with God. We believe that infant baptism is different than believer’s baptism. Rather than infant baptism, we have Parent and Child Dedication periodically throughout the year.

The best opportunity for you to be baptized is at our next Baptism Celebration. We do this on a regular basis.
