Dream Team Onboarding

What an honor it is to serve in God’s house. WE GET TO DO THIS. There are a few steps you’ll need to take in order to fully onboard as a Dream Team member.

1. Starting Point - If you have not attended Starting Point, that is your first step!

2. Leadership Covenant - Everyone who serves on the Dream Team is a leader at Revolution Church. We’ve created the Leadership Covenant for you to carefully read and sign.

3. Child Abuse Prevention Policy and Procedures Manual - The safety of our children is our top priority. We have minors serving on all teams; therefore, we require all Dream Team members to read, understand, and sign the Child Abuse Manual. This is not just a document to skim over and sign, this is a manual for how we interact and protect children.

4. Background Check - This will be sent to the email address listed on your Planning Center profile. Check your email and follow the prompts to complete your background check.

Essential Information

Parking

Dream Team Members can park off of the main lot at Selma City Offices, Greene Tweed, or SpawGlass. Parking at these locations opens up a spot for someone who may be trying church for the first time. We don’t want to give anyone a reason not to come inside!

Team Uniform

When choosing what to wear, remember you are representing both Revolution Church and Jesus. Dress modestly and make sure you avoid wearing anything that can be distracting or offensive to those you are serving or serving with. Excellence matters in all areas. We asked that you dress business casual.

Here are some items that would not be appropriate to wear:
  • Visible undergarments
  • Dirty or wrinkled items
  • Mini dress/mini skirts
  • Shorts
  • Low v. neck/scoop shirts/crop tops/tank top
  • Inappropriate graphics, slogans, and design

Kids

We love your kids! If they are 6th grade and up we’d love to get them connected to a team. If they are 5th grade and under, they must be checked into the appropriate room in Rev Kids. They will not be able to hang out with you while you serve. This is for their protection and for your focus. For this reason we ask that you serve one service and sit one service so your kids will always LOVE coming to God’s house.
